In 2005, Xu Zhihui, the founder of AONIJIE, was introduced to the world of outdoor hiking. What began as a casual encounter quickly became a lifelong passion. Immersed in the beauty of nature, he explored the outdoors with the dedication of an adventurer.
By 2014, this personal enthusiasm evolved into a collective pursuit. Xu met a group of trail running enthusiasts, and together, they discovered a shared excitement for the sport. Inspired by their energy, he began participating in trail running and quickly recognized a critical market gap in China.
At the time, trail runners in China had limited access to well-fitting, performance-oriented gear. Most products were designed for Western body types, often ill-fitting for Asian runners. Additionally, high prices made premium gear inaccessible for many. Despite the increasing popularity of the sport, there was no local brand dedicated to serving this growing community.
Determined to meet this unmet need, Xu set out to establish China's first professional trail running gear brand. He envisioned a product line that was not only technically advanced and comfortable but also affordable and tailored to Chinese athletes.
AONIJIE was born from this vision. Its team embraced a craftsman-like dedication to product development, refining every detail through repeated testing and research. They studied the specific physical and movement characteristics of Chinese runners to ensure superior fit and comfort. Product design focused on innovation, durability, and functionality, while quality control remained uncompromising.
